Walking in Abundant supply – Abundance a very large quantity of something. Abundance means to have more than you need. 2 Corinthians 9:8 [8] And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. Abundance is of Got. Our God is a God of abundance. imagine all his creations, they all speak of abundance.
John 10:10, [10] The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
How can we experience this Abundance?
We must understand the concept of supply first before we can be endowed with the knowledge of Abundance.
What is supply
Supply is something that is needed or wanted. Without demand there is no supply. There must be a level of demand to cause supernatural supply. Ephesians 3:20, [20] Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, according to the scriptures there must be a level of asking to cause a release, John 16:24, [24] Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
From the scripture above asking in the name of Jesus is our assurance to walking in Abundant supply.
How do we not walk in this supply.
Luke 18:1, [1] Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, Asking is Praying. When we pray, we open the source for our receiving. The more we stay in this atmosphere of prayer the more we remain connected to receiving from our source. But the supply can be released only when we place a burden on the Anointing. The Anointing is the power of God that is at work in up. The power that is at work in you can lift burdens and break yokes of your neck, according to, Isaiah 10:27, [27] It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
The story of Nehemiah. Nehemiah 2:1-9, [1] And it came to pass in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before. [2] Therefore the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of heart.” So, I became dreadfully afraid, [3]and said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?”
[4] Then the king said to me, “What do you request?” So, I prayed to the God of heaven. [5] And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.” [6] Then the king said to me (the queen also sitting beside him), “How long will your journey be? And when will you return?” So, it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time. [7] Furthermore I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, let letters be given to me for the governors of the region beyond the river, that they must permit me to pass through till I come to Judah, [8]and a letter to Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he must give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel which pertains to the temple, for the city wall, and for the house that I will occupy.” And the king granted them to me according to the good hand of my God upon me. [9] Then I went to the governors in the region beyond the river and gave them the king’s letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.Responsibilities learnt from Nehemiah to walking in Abundant Supply
1. God’s leader responds to a call.
Romans 8:30, [30] Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
2. God’s leader cares for the people and their situation.
Galatians 6:10, [10] Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
3. God’s leader helps define the reality of the situation.
Habakkuk 2:3, [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
4. God’s direction and vision are sought by the leader and people.
Proverbs 16:3, [3] Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.
5. Prayer is essential to know God’s will.
Mark 11:24, [24] Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Summary
John 14:26, [26] But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit which is within us. the Holy Spirit is here to assist us to access all the needs that Jesus has given to us Philippians 4:19, [19] And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. All our needs are met in Jesus by the power of Gods Holy Spirit. It is the will of God for his Children to walk in Abundant supply.
