God is more than enough – understanding the mystery of your Empowerment (Part 4)
2 Corinthians 9:8
[8]And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
God made provisions of Divine empowerment for His children, Divine empowerment is the strategy of the Lord to make His children able to withstand, pressure, challenges and negative circumstances.
Child of God, it is very crucial for you to know that God wants His children to come to the place where they will be empowered, to solve the various demands of Life, and it is in this place of empowerment that we are enabled to take care of chronic situations.
Ephesians 3:16
[16]that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
So, now by carefully considering the scripture above you will notice that we received empowerment by the riches of His glory. Hallelujah!
This empowerment of the spirit is God’s divine enablement to His children, and we received it the day we gave our hearts to be circumcised in the spirit, the devil knows about this great blessing on the believer, that is why he works to keep us ignorant of this virtue for he knows if the believer is kept unaware of his blessings, he will be under the manipulation of the devil.
God made sure to fulfill this blessing of empowering us, because He knew we cannot do anything meaningful in advancing the cause of the kingdom in this natural world without His riches in Glory, Child of God, this empowerment that we have received from the Lord is for us to interact, to live and to reign in this natural world.
John 1:1
[1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The word of God in the heart of a child of God brings light or illumination to his spirit, this is the place where this empowerment is received. The word of God is the carrier of God’s power, The word of God is the builder of strength, so the more we take in the word of God, the more we are empowered.
Joshua 6:1-5
[1]Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.
[2]And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.
[3]You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.
[4]And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.
[5]It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”
The story of Joshua was a perfect example of one that was empowered to work in authority by the word of God, considering Joshua during his Leadership, he made the word of God, his compass of Leadership that was why he received such level of strength and empowerment to take care of complex situations. HALLELUJAH!
What are the empowerment that we have received?
1 Samuel 2:9
[9]He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail.
Child of God, the verse above, is a good standpoint to indicate through the revealed word that our natural strength is limited, I feel very sorry, seeing someone boost of his sufficiency, his achievements without acknowledging God, this is simply, a lack of understanding and divine insight, that, we cannot do anything on our own.
The Empowerment we received is by the holy Spirit, Before Jesus, accession, He rightly admonished His disciples to wait for the promise of the father.
Acts 1:4-5
[4]And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
[5]for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
So, saints of God, the impartation of the holy Spirit in the upper room as instructed by the Lord as we have seen through scriptures in the book of Acts.
Acts 2:1-4
[1]When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
[2]And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
[3]Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
[4]And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
This infilling of the spirit of God brought to us Empowerment, and which by the inspiration of God’s holy Ghost, I explain below. Hallelujah!
- The Empowerment of Wisdom
We received divine insight to understand strategies for navigating and walking through life in our relationships and interactions with people.
1 Corinthians 1:30
[30]But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
- The Empowerment of Ability.
God became our strength when we are weak, He helps us to bear burdens of life, He builds in our spirit, the enabling ability to unwaveringly persevere.
Philippians 4:13
[13]I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- The Empowerment of Grace.
When we are faced with life’s challenges, God’s grace is made available for us to go through and prevail.
2 Corinthians 12:9
[9]And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- The Empowerment of Sufficiency.
God provides for his own, in ways that cannot be explained, He meets our needs through His riches in Glory.
2 Corinthians 3:5
[5]Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
Conclusion:
The mystery behind this empowerment is too deep to comprehend with mere words but God has revealed it to the recreated spirit of a man.
The word of God, which is the carrier of God’s presence and God’s power does the function of realigning the circumcised heart of a child of God, to receive empowerment.
Every child of God who has gone through the process of of intense spiritual consecration is empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Child of God, this transformation makes us formidable to withstand, subdue and to walk in dominion in this natural world as the chosen ones. Praise God!
