God is more than enough – You have peace which surpassed all understanding. (Part 7)
2 Corinthians 9:8
[8]And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
God is our Peace, He assured us of peace which surpassed all understanding, this is not the peace that we received from the world and it’s corrupt system.
This peace comes from our heavenly heritage, it is peace that is categorized by its divine spiritual nature, it is not void of chaos but in the midst of negative circumstances, this peace guarantees our sustainability.
Galatians 6:8
[8]For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Child of God, look at the scripture with a yielded heart to learn, while I discuss further like this, Apostle Paul through the inspiration of God’s holy Ghost introduced two kinds of Attitude from the Bible text that we read and it’s effect, which was, sowing to the flesh and sowing to the Spirit.
With the scripture still in view let’s look at how our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ described the same situation .
John 16:33
[33]These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
And by explaining further, you will notice that, Apostle Paul used corruption and the Lord Jesus used tribulation as a similarity in the different Bible texts, and also by considering eternal life from the teaching of Apostle Paul compared to peace from the message of Jesus.
This tells us that this kind of peace that comes from the Lord is Spirit and Jesus Christ is our assurance and guarantor of Peace.
Isaiah 26:3
[3]You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
So, child of God, this peace that Jesus Christ introduced to us is a position, which took place in our lives when we made the decision to be a yielded vessel, Praise God!
When we gave up our natural way of living for the Spirit of God, by this action, we were translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear son, Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:13
[13]He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
So, child of God, you have peace which surpassed all understanding, you have to be conscious of this peace that you have, it is the life of God in you, this peace is a person.
Ephesians 2:14
[14]For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
So, saints of God, we must endeavor to be in unwavering alignment to this person, who is peace, this is the position of our translation, which is in Christ Jesus, Hallelujah!
What you must do to live by peace.
You must give your life to peace.
Child of God, this is the first place of your living in peace, the process is when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
John 3:16
[16]For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Child of God, you can see for yourself through the knowledge that was conveyed earlier through the comparison of the teachings from Apostle Paul and Jesus. Then from the Bible text above everlasting life is peace. Praise God!
You must live by the word of God.
This is very perculiar, for the day you were translated into the kingdom of the son God, you began to operate in a system that is different from the system of the world, so you must learn the principles of the system that you now belong to by adhering to the word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16
[16]All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
You must cultivate communal fellowship with God .
This is of note, child of God, our fellowship is with the Father.
1 John 1:3
[3]that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.
This is a spiritual alignment when we commune with the sovereign Lord in prayers.
Prayer is a way of communicating with God, when we pray to our Father, we receive peace as a sign to answered prayers.Hallelujah!
Philippians 4:6-7
[6]Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
[7]and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
You must meditate on the scriptures.
Child of God, this is very powerful, when you give heed to the meditation of God’s word, you translate the word read, from head knowledge to your heart, when it goes through this process the word of God now frames your thoughts to living successfully and prosperously. Praise God!
Psalms 1:2-3
[2]But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
[3]He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Psalms 119:165
[165]Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.
You must tell someone about the gospel of peace.
This is a place of spiritual maturity, when you were saved, you went through a process of learning, so that you can also be in the position of introducing this peace to the unsaved, while doing this you reconcile men back to God so that they can also be saved and experience this same transformation of the spirit which is peace.
Matthew 28:19-20
[19]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[20]teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
6.You must give to support the work of God.
As a child of God, you got to understand that your substance or resources is for kingdom advancement,
Zechariah 1:17
[17]“Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The Lord will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem.” ’
The Lord prospers His children, so that they can support the work of the ministry for kingdom relevance and advancement. Hallelujah!
The means to propagate the gospel by reaching out to as many, according to the commandments of the Lord is not cheap.
Money is needed for funding and sponsoring, kingdom agenda,
Proverbs 11:25
[25]The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
[7]So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
[8]And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Conclusion
The peace that surpassed all understanding preceeds prosperity, we experienced such level of good fortune, when we were transformed into becoming a yielded vessel of the Lord.
This process is eternal, with eternal great rewards that comes with it.
And it can only be found in Christ Jesus, the world and it’s systems can only produce corruption.
We overcome these challenging systems surrounding us through the force of peace, who is Christ Jesus, Hallelujah!
