Why we must do greater works – The healing Lord (Part 5)
Matt 15:30; And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Jesus Christ exercised dominion and authority over all spirits during his work here on earth.
He demonstrated the works of Christ.
The world has never seen a miracle worker like Jesus, never seen a vessel connected with God the Father every moment of every day and night. Jesus received all from the Father and poured out all to mankind, even His very life. We hear Him say in John, John 9:4; I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
He is the mediator between God and men according to the book of 1 Tim 2:5.
How do we receive from Jesus?
1. By Faith
Hebrews 12:2; 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Countless times did Jesus heal the Sick and he always said to them let it be unto you according to your faith. Matthew 9:19-22; 19. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. 20. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22.But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Faith is a Spirit, Faith Speaks what you say to your situation determines how you receive from Jesus ..He is ready at all times to heal and deliver us..
But he needs our total reliance on him..he needs our total trust on him …he needs our total confidence on him..That he is able to do exceedingly above all the we ask or think..
Conclusion
Jesus Christ is willing to heal us of every disease and infirmities.
Mark 5:36; As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. Matt 9:28-30
28. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
