Tenets Of Winning Wisdom – Winning By Relevant Knowledge – Archbishop Dr. Goddy Okafor: Call yourself a meeting, scrutinize your own thoughts and actions. You and you alone can recreate yourself. Do it now before it becomes too late for you.
Tenets Of Winning Wisdom – Winning By Relevant Knowledge
Contents
“Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times.” – Isaiah 33:6
Introduction;
Many people know something about everything, but let me ask you, do you know what truly matters for your assignment, your season, or your success? Are you aware, winning in life is not about how much you know, but about how accurately and strategically you know.
Every success story is built on a foundation of understanding.
• What separates the top 10% from the rest is not effort alone — it’s insight.
• When you have the right knowledge, you make the right moves.
For example, you think of a farmer, he can’t plant in dry season and expect a harvest. Do, knowing when to plant is as important as knowing what to plant. That’s relevant knowledge.
Irrelevant Knowledge Can Waste Your Energy:
• It’s possible to be busy and not effective.
• You can be learning, researching, studying — but if it’s not connected to your destiny, your industry, or your purpose, it’s distraction.
• The world is flooded with information, but few people have directional intelligence — the ability to filter what truly matters.
Ask yourself:
“Is what I’m learning right now relevant to where I’m going?”
Few months ago, I sat down and queried myself over the things I had been doing for the past few years and decided to change my approach to my way of life. Call yourself a meeting, scrutinize your own thoughts and actions. You and you alone can recreate yourself. Do it now before it becomes too late for you. If you neglect this, perhaps you are careful not to offend anyone, first ask yourself, who is the person that truly loves and cares about me? Let me tell you, no one truly loves or cares about you. No one! Some may try to be there for you, but how long would they remain with you without turning their backs on you? Unfortunately, you do not know.
Psalms 118:8
It is better to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in man.
Psalms 146:3
Put not your trust in princes,
nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Wisdom is the shortcut to winning:
Proverbs 24:5, “A wise man is strong; yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.”
Relevant knowledge Is Spiritual, It Turns Effort into Excellence
Spiritual Knowledge is the Foundation of All Victory.
Beyond information, you need revelation.
The Spirit of God gives access to hidden truths and divine strategies.
Every divine instruction is a wisdom code for winning.
You don’t rise by luck — you rise by light.
One correct insight can save you years of struggle.
Effort without knowledge produces frustration.
Knowledge helps you work smart, not just work hard.
Many people pray for results, but they lack the right information and strategies to sustain them.
Winning in life, business, ministry, or any field is not by chance, it’s by knowledge.
Ignorance is expensive; it makes people repeat the same mistakes. When you refuse to learn from other people’s mistakes and failures, you fall into the same trap. If you are busy judging failures of others, know the same thing may happen to you.
Success bows to understanding:
Where others struggle, the man of knowledge thrives.
Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
That means it’s not the devil that destroys people, it’s ignorance.
Ignorance keeps people in bondage, but knowledge empowers people for victory.
Knowledge Builds Confidence and Authority:
You speak boldly when you know what you’re talking about.
Confidence is not arrogance, it’s the byproduct of clarity. That is, when you know, you cannot be easily deceived or intimidated.
David faced Goliath not just with faith, but with knowledge of his covenant with God and skill with a sling.
Continuous Learning Is Continuous Winning:
Yesterday’s knowledge cannot handle today’s battles.
Stay updated, stay teachable, stay humble enough to learn.
Winners are lifelong learners.
If you stop learning, you start losing.
Conclusion;
You win by knowledge — not just by wishing, working, or shouting.
Knowledge lights your path, multiplies your results, and secures your destiny.
Pray for revelation, pursue wisdom, and apply understanding.
Because the more you know, the more you win.
