Psalms 115:14
[14]May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children.
Being in charge, is about responsibility, and of course, child of God, Leadership is all about responsibility, every child of God has been called into the position of Leadership, you don’t need an office or a position before you can function as a leader, leadership in the kingdom of God is your calling.
So, you must be responsible, you must be accountable, you must be in charge of your destiny, this has been an act, that most children of God have failed to acknowledge or perform.
We believe that someone is responsible for anything that happens to us, brethren, the high time we start taking responsibility for everything that happens to us, the better for us, and the much progress that we will make in this natural world.
2 Timothy 1:7
[7]For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
This scripture that we read explains the magnitude of the spiritual composition of the child of God.
These mysteriously built-up inner man that we have received from the father as His children enables us to serve in the courtyard of our God.
Yes, I meant it; to serve, this act of service differentiates us from the operations of the world. This system of responsibility discussed in this message was introduced by God himself, showcasing the responsibility of the children of God to serve.
Matthew 20:28
[28]just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Galatians 5:13
[13]For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
Brethren, by simply comparing both scriptures, you would agree with me, that service is God’s laid down plan for His children.
Because, when we serve, we exhibit Love for one another which will turn around to affect our environment positively and of course, God is Love. Hallelujah!
Matthew 20:25-26
[25]But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.
[26]Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.
In this kingdom, we must not practice leadership like the world and its systems.
The world’s system of leadership is to rule over the people and not to serve them as identified through scriptures.
And we are now, aware that leadership in the kingdom of God is about responsibility of service and that is where our elevation to greatness begins. Praise God.
How to be in Charge of Your Destiny.
1.You must make up your mind to be of kingdom impact.
Child of God, your relevance and advancement in this natural world begins when you make up your mind to pursue mental improvement.
Romans 12:2
[2]And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Child of God, this is the key to being in charge of your destiny, the Lord made sure that your destiny is not with any man but with you, and you should not expect Him to do for you the things that you have been equipped to do for yourself.
Jesus Christ took care of all the spiritual needs of our destiny, so, saints of God, brace up and put everything that you have received from the Lord to work, make up your mind now, to be the best version of yourself. Praise God.
You must work on yourself to improve on the skills that you have learnt.
Child of God, men are celebrated because of what they can offer, no body applauds anyone who doesn’t have something that is exceptional, which he brings to the table.
Proverbs 18:16
[16]A man’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great men.
When we are committed to learning, by consistently improving on the skills that we have acquired.
Child of God, this act of discipline increases our mental capacity which will also affect our physical state.
Then, by such action we become relevant to serve our generation.
Child of God, your high level of relevance demands an unwavering level of devotion to increasing your skill set.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
[10]Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
Saints of God, since increase or progress is of the Lord and through scriptures, we have seen that one can really have control over his destiny.
Let us quickly consider this scripture for further study.
Exodus 31:1-6
[1]Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
[2]“See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
[3]And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
[4]to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
[5]in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.
[6]“And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
Child of God, do you notice? Honestly, it is very interesting to see how the Lord introduced, Bezalel, Aholiab as the right workmen, whom, He has filled with Knowledge, wisdom and understanding in artistic work, who has acquired a high level of skill to perform the Artisan work in the building of the tabernacle as Moses was instructed.
Isaiah 60:3-5
[3]The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
We must totally depend on the word of God for direction.
Child of God, their are laid down principles for your elevation or rising in this kingdom, these principles can only be found when we submit to the authority of the word of God.
Psalms 119:105
[105]Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Brethren, we need directions to succeed in this earth realm, whether in business, politics, education, media and entertainment, arts, professional, ministry, whatever vocation that we are involved.
The word of God can provide these directions through, wisdom, guidance and insight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
[5]Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
[6]In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Brethren, we should also bear in mind that the word of God is a person, the word of God is Jesus.
By totally depending and trusting in the Lord, Jesus Christ, is the most perfect way for us to be in charge of our destines.
Acts 17:28
[28]for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’
Conclusion:
Destiny is your life, God made us to be in charge of our destinies, He wants us to take full responsibility for ourselves, families and environs.
That is why God invested so much enabling power on us for us to function by His Spirit in this natural world.
This He did, so that we will be more committed to service, Child of God, our call in this kingdom is Leadership, and leadership is about responsibility, which is purely demonstrated when we serve one another and not to rule over one another.
When we serve, we will not only be in charge of our destinies, we will also become great! Praise God.
