Seeking God’s divine strategy – By His Stripes – Part 6
Joshua 1:8
[8]This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Child of God, Do you know the reason, Jesus Christ had to suffer all those rough handled bruises and violent lashes that the Roman soldiers inflicted on Him, before His crucifixion? His sufferings were meant to abolish all the diseases that is known to man.
Isaiah 53:5
[5]But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
These sufferings of Christ, Prophet Isaiah prophesied by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost before the birth of Christ.
Child of God, I can assure you through scriptures that, this was God’s divine strategy for the new creation man to walk in complete victory over all his health concerns. Hallelujah!
1 Peter 2:24
[24]who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Saints of God, you will agree with me from the scripture above, all diseases and sickness was perfected in Christ. Hallelujah!
So now, from this understanding, we are not meant to suffer from health challenges, because of this substitutional sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, was a mystery for our victory over sickness.
Every pain, He experienced through His sufferings from the wound that He bore for us, is to put us into the life, were we will experience divine healing.
This does not mean that sometimes or most times that we do not experience this affliction in our bodies, which comes from the devil.
Luke 13:16
[16]So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”
Child of God, in such events of sickness we should trust and believe in this finished works of Christ on the cross of Calvary for us.
Jesus Christ who healed all manner of diseases during his earthly ministry is still in the business of performing these healings and miracles through the hands of the new creation man in Christ.
So, if you are sick in body, whatever the sickness is, Glechoma, HIV AIDS, High Blood Pressure, Low Blood Pressure, Prostates and Breasts, Cancer, Fibroids whatever the disease might be, Jesus Christ has paid the full price for your healing. Receive your divine healing, now!, in the name of Jesus!
John 14:13-14
[13]And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
[14]If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
Yes, it is done child of God, Jesus Christ promised us, anything that we ask the Father, by faith, in His name, so by believing and asking we are guaranteed of walking or receiving our healing. Praise God!
I beg of you, child of God, you must be conscious of these great and effectual promises that was fulfilled in Christ for your divine healing, and begin to experience it now, for it is your birthright as a child of God. The symptoms of sickness and diseases was defeated through the sufferings of Christ and nailed on the cross for you.
John 19:30
[30]So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
“IT IS FINISHED” are the powerful last words Jesus spoke on the cross, declaring the completion of His mission to save us.
This profound statement signifies that the price for our sins was paid, and redemption was accomplished.
Features of the finished works of Christ
- Fulfillment of prophecy:
Old Testament prophecies of Christ were fulfilled.
Matthew 8:16-17
[16]When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
[17]that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
2. Completion of salvation:
Our sins are forgiven and abolished in Christ.
Colossians 2:13-14
[13]And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
[14]having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
3. Victory over sin and death:
Jesus conquered death, giving us eternal life and victory.
Hebrews 2:14-15
[14]Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
[15]and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Child of God, you ought to celebrate this finished works of Christ as a Hallmark and cornerstone of your faith and salvation. Praise God!
Conclusion:
Saints of God, it is of great note and privilege, for us to be conscious of this mysterious victory, Christ has wrought for us, from the bruised stripes inflicted in the body of His flesh, by the Roman soldiers. Whereby, all sickness and diseases is done away, so no affliction is permitted to survive in us, if only, we can truly believe, that He bore our sorrows and our chastisements on His body. He went through these sufferings for us, which was a Hallmark of His substitutionary sacrifice, to save us from the pangs of death and for us to be made to walk in complete victory over sickness and diseases. Hallelujah!
