Walking with God who Exceeds our Expectations – Asking in the name of Jesus!
Ephesians 3:20
[20] Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Jesus Christ became to us our legal tender to healing, to empowerment, to a life of victory and to all the precious promises the Lord has made available to his children. Look at the opening verse again, “now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask” Then considering the following text below, we can come to conclusion that our right to receiving in this kingdom is by asking in the name of Jesus.
John 14:13-14; [13] And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
The scripture we just read above confirms the bases of our asking, is in the name of Jesus! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ gave us the right to use his name in our asking on legal grounds. This is due to the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of Calvary has awarded to us this divine right of privilege! Praise God!
So Child of God no sickness, no disease, no power can stand the name of Jesus .
Matthew 28:18; [18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
The Demonstration of act of asking by the Disciples :
Acts 3:1-8; [1] Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. [2] And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; [3] who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. [4] And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” [5] So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. [6]Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” [7] And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. [8] So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
Hallelujah! What a powerful privilege that we have by the demonstration of the power of God to receiving all things in this kingdom by asking in the name of Jesus.
